A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Beatrice Ward leads one of the hottest Gospel groups out of Houston, Texas, today.  Backed by her Angelic Voices and a 4-piece rhythm section, Beatrice Ward & Angelic Voices put on a powerful show.  Her lyrics are simple but her message is strong.  She is a dynamic and energetic performer and loyal to her calling.

Established in March 1982, Ms. Ward has appeared on Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Show, which airs on the BET station.  Beatrice Ward has shared the stage with such national artists as Shirley Caesar, The Canton Spirituals, The William Brothers, Lee Williams and Spiritual QC, Donald Lawrence, The Keynotes, The Bolton Brothers, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson, and The Christianaires, just to name a few.

Lone Star Association President, Dorothy Mitchell, awarded Beatrice Ward “Female Vocalist Of The Year” for 1999.  The group has received many proclamations from the Mayor of the city of Houston.  The National Register of who’s who in Executives and Professionals has included Beatrice Ward and Angelic Voices in their 2000 edition, and the city of Austin has her listed in the Texas Music Industry Directory.

Beatrice is the executive producer of a weekly television show called “Hour of Praise” which can be seen locally on Comcast Cable channel 17 & 19, TV Max 95 and Kingswood 98.

Beatrice Ward & Angelic Voices now have 5 recordings to their credit.  Their most recent release, “Hold On,” was recorded in New Orleans on the Rampart Street Label and was released in February 2003.

In August 2002, Beatrice Ward & Angelic voices attended the Worldwide Association of Artists and Musicians International Music Business Conference and Showcase.  Their performance was so fabulous that they were selected to participate in a 13-city tour in Italy during the Christmas holidays.  In December 2003, they returned to Italy for a 5-city tour and made many new friends that look forward to their return.  In October 2008, Beatrice Ward & Angelic Voices spent a couple weeks in Nancy France for their annual two week long music event.
